Hello, sexy people π
I've decided to take a little break from Patreon to focus on life for a bit. The payment pause will begin on October 1st, so you wonβt be charged next month, and there wonβt be any rewards available for October.
If any new members join, they will still receive the September reward after their first payment.
I'll announce my return in advance and post the character suggestion thread so we can choose what to work on for November β€οΈπ
----------------------------------------------
There are a few reasons I feel the need for a short break. I know I usually don't talk much about my mental state here, but I want to be honest with you all.
I don't like spreading negativity here, and before I say anything, I want you to know how grateful I am for this platform and the support youβve all given me. You guys are the bestt. That said, the truth is I've been feeling quite burnt out this year and there are several factors contributing to that:
1. The rise of AI-generated content really scares me as a human artist. There's so much AI-generated work out there, and it often gets more traction with algorithms than human-created art. The technology has become so advanced that sometimes even I canβt tell the difference between AI and human-made content. Itβs made me question the path Iβm on and whether I can continue making a living through drawing. But I know one thing for sure: Iβm going to keep pushing myself to create kick-ass, spicy art and continue improving, while resisting the urge to compare myself to AI.
2. The challenges of being an adult content creator, Itβs heightened my anxiety. New policies keep popping up on different social media platforms, making our jobs harder. I'm constantly on edge, figuring out how to get more engagement while following ever-changing rules. Iβm always researching backup platforms, just in case things go wrong, all while dealing with hate comments and maintaining good connections with my patrons and followers. I understand this is part of my job now, and Iβm beyond grateful to have your support. Your positive responses keep my passion alive.
3. My workflow feels too repetitive , Itβs becoming robotic, which leaves me feeling uninspired and unchallenged as a creative. That's why Iβve introduced changes to the polling system, started doing animation again, and created new characters and content. Iβve even been researching ways to streamline my animation process. These efforts have helped regaining my love for art, but they also require a lot more energy. Iβm still searching for a balance between fan art and personal work.
I donβt see these reasons as problems though. In the end, I know that consistency in drawing is the key to push me forward. I'll have my rest and come back stronger and hornier. I appreciate all your supports and thank you for making me the happiest ( and horniest ) artist β€οΈπ
Thank you for reading this and much love to you all,
Appas
