Hard core anime fans really really prefer the sub version. I'm not hard core but the first time I watched I watched the sub. 2nd time I watched the sub again. Its good, the voice acting is easy to feel the emotions, maybe a little over the top but that's the style. 3rd time I watched the dub and I didn't feel like it was missing anything, it's a little less intense perhaps but I liked that I didn't have to read the subtitles. I don't think there's anything wrong with the dubbed version. As a viewer trying to watch your reaction it's harder in my opinion to try to read the subtitles in the little PiP and still watch your reaction too. Just my two cents. I know Blind Wave always does the English versions for that reason when they watch anime.

It would be great if you did full reactions to this show. Glad your watching the sub, the Japanese voice actors really nailed it.

I avoided this show for the longest time due to its popularity, didn't think it would be bad or anything, just maybe mainstream or generic. Boy was I wrong, I had read the first chapters of the manga and then moved on to the show, this was magnificent, very well done, the tone, the sense of dread, the fights. I think the sub is infinitely better acted. I thought of this show like Lost and Game of Thrones, and at chapter 100 toward the end of its run people claim it is still one of the best manga coming out, so I can't wait for the adaptation.

Is it possible for you to release the full reaction on patreon?

Great reaction Jimmy! Don't worry, the next couple of episodes are definitely light-hearted, introducing many new characters some of which provide the well needed humor. I think you'll enjoy where this is going.

Maybe you should just try the English dub. I watched it that way and enjoyed it just fine
