Omg I was right! They super telegraphed it in the previous episode tho! As soon as he said to kate he was looking for the guy that killed his friendsβ¦and he was tracking the school shooter. Plus he had puppy eyes talking about Kate. Not a giant twist, but well set up!

The juxtaposition of Paige lecturing her parents about "civil disobedience" and Fred's actual sacrifice is so well done, and such a farce, that it almost feels like a Monty Python sketch for a moment. You held your tongue, Jimmy... but Philip sure didn't :) There's too many other great things to mention, so let me just say that Henry's obliviousness and COMPLETE LACK OF INTEREST in what's going on around him makes me laugh... I was so much like him as a kid it scares me. edit: I keep forgetting to ask! Jimmy, did you recognize Fred? Marge's husband in Fargo :) edit2: Just watched it again. "It feels A BIT over the top for him to kill his entire family." Was Jared a virgin before Kate? I'd bet, yes. To go from that to a sexual relationship with Kate (who, statistically, NOBODY gets to have a sexual relationship with) AND learning the truth... and all the propaganda that goes with it... yeah, I buy it. Teenagers. They be crazy. edit3: My point is that if Jared wasn't the son of illegals he NEVER (in his entire fucking life) would have had a sexual relationship with someone like Kate. I'm not shocked that he was willing to kill for it, at all.
