New Writing Channel Open For Lyric Submissions!
Added 2021-02-02 01:49:49 +0000 UTCAfter the last Discord chat with patrons in late January we went away and thought more about the match-up ideas we discussed and still couldn't make our minds up. We also received numerous emails and comments from patrons explaining their personal thoughts on the match-ups. Thank you to everyone who got involved. We will continue to mull things over as there is no need to rush into things. :)
But, we didn't want to leave you all hanging when there are so many good match-up ideas out there. So, I suggested to Pete & Lloyd that we throw you somewhat of a curveball and give you a different match-up to submit lyrics for. Who doesn't enjoy a nice surprise?
It's a really good match-up idea that's been floating around for a while and Pete & Lloyd are definitely interested. The match-up we'd like you to explore is... "H.P. Lovecraft vs Rod Serling". It has huge potential visually and there is a bountiful supply of things to explore within the worlds of the Cthulhu Mythos and Twilight Zone.
We are going to open a new channel on our Discord Server for you to submit lyrics for it, so look out for the #cosmic-spoiler channel opening up shortly. If you aren't aware of either Lovecraft or Serling, then I think you're in for a treat research wise.
As always, creating a channel does not guarantee a battle will definitely happen. It really depends on how our own personal research goes. But, it's an important step and the quality of your lyric submissions can really have a massive effect on our thinking.
So, let's see what you can come up with. :)
