I Want To Learn Blender This Year. You could sponsor me.

Here's the deal, I can read the writing on the wall. Animators, especially those using blender, have a deeper and wider reach. Many of them don't even design/sculpt the models the use, they just animate them like any old-fashioned machinema (back before devs used a lot of motion capture) which is still perfectly legitimate and fair. It is real work that I personally value as do many others. Because of this fact I've been meaning to learn in 2018, and I did get some time to begin learning, but things happened, again and again. I still work a full-time (40 hours a week) job doing menial labor for bad pay. Patreon and the occasional commission has supplemented my income and It's been really astonishing to see my pledge growth. I definitely appreciate everyone who supports this work I do. There are a few of you who pledge and don't redeem the reward you're entitled to. Thank you so much! That's been the thing that floats me on my worst days. I always think to myself "someone is going to give me such and such amount of money just to be alive" and it just makes me realize I could have it so much worse and it keeps me coming to work at this. Every pledge tier gives you something extra. I made access to the basic exclusives (like the posters and the AYLIUM: INSERTION comic) the cheapest tier to attract as many pledges as possible. I wont demand money for nothing, but if you would consider pledging the amount you wish to pledge and then tell me that instead of working on your reward sketches I could just take a day to learn how to use blender.

My schedule has been erratic. I have been doing a lot of personal work relating to Mercy as you might have seen on twitter. I realize I should instead be using that time to actually learn how to use Blender to create content that I could dovetail into something bigger. Perhaps even an actual concept beta for Mercy or just sexy monstergirls. Whatever it might be, the obvious direction for me to go is Blender.

Blender, if you don't know, is an open source application for 3-d modeling, animation, game design, and graphic rendering. It's been the engine of a lot of high quality CGI hentai you might have been seeing explode in popularity in the last four years.

I would like to create public-domain models for other artists to use in their animations. But also for my own animations or stills.

So, in the coming months, if you are feeling very generous, you could opt to let me schedule time to learn Blender instead of working on your sketch. I'll get any patreon obligations done at the start of the month then, put out some AYLIUM: INSERTION pages, and then the rest of the time I'd dedicate to learning Blender.  I'll post updates of what I learn each day, the progress I make, etc. from following tutorials. Because it's an opensource program there is a multitude of free resources for beginners like me to use to learn and create.

If you just want the sketch, don't feel guilty! I'll happily do the work promised for the money we agreed to no problem.
