I work in healthcare but work with eyes (retinas specifically), not stuff like this, so the worst thing I typically see is if itโs a case where the patient isnโt going to get their vision back or it wonโt improve. That obviously is still very sad but itโs still nothing like what ER/trauma workers see on a daily basis. I just canโt imagine the toll things like this must take on people. Noah Wyle and the others definitely deserved the Emmys that they won
