there’s a Belgian film from a few years ago called Above The Law which is based on the Brabant mass murders. they actually play some of the news reels at the start, though the main plot is set 30 years later and is fiction. i didn’t realise it was inspired by real events (though i did wonder why the news reels at the start felt so realistic)
