Another Vanessa thoughts comic! This time it’s over probably her most popular scene (outside of staring at the picture wall)

It’s where she threatens to shoot Mike if he ever brings Abby back around, this scene always stuck out to me, not just cause of the intense line but also just the emotion Vanessa had herself

I REALLY wanted to know what must of been going through her head, and some part of me believes she definitely regretted saying that too.

The reason why she’s said it too much sense to me, she knows Freddy’s is dangerous, and yet even with knowing this she let her guard down, she indulged in the fun aspects of Freddy’s, she was enjoying herself. Abby getting hurt though brought her back to reality, she wasn’t just mad at Mike but herself. She’s supposed to be helping her father, but she doesn’t have the guts at all to hurt Mike, she likes him too much. All she can do is try and scare him off, before her father steps in to end Mike himself

She was under a lot of stress, so she let that all out on Mike, I can only imagine she regretted her harsh words after, or didn’t even mean it to begin with. Seeing I think she also feels guilty what her father did to Mike’s home life, his brother, etc., she doesn’t want to contribute to that. It’s clear too seeing she then saves Mike, patches him up and sobs to him her apologies.

This poor girl Vanessa, I just want her to be happy, free of all worries, she definitely deserves it after everything she had to carry on her back 🩵
