my entry for the OMORI drawfest event on pixiv!
i had originally sketched this concept way back in 2021, but abandoned it -- watching OMOCAT's lecture inspired me so much, it gave me the impulse to continue work on this piece specially for this event! i'm so happy i finally did it :>
so blown away that omocat herself saw it and picked it out to show on the feedback stream, MAN.... 😭😭😭😭 she's been my biggest inspo for almost 10 years now so it was the day ever for me. she said i have a strong style, like whoa.....
unrelated note, i accidentally scheduled 2 patreon posts to the same day a few days back aa 😭 i like to space them out evenly, so sorry about that lol!

WUAUWUUU.... i can't stop watching the progress gif, this is so cool to see the progress on it like that! I love how heavily saturated it is, like a sunset steeped in dreamlike colors.... SO COOL, i'm glad omocat herself got to see it too!!! :D
