Had a few details to work with, that Belladonna is "a semi-retired opera singer turned aristocratic sorceress", and that he'd like "a tense and gothic vibe akin to visiting Dracula's castle" from the "POV of a statesman being welcomed into her foyer". Definitely had Skyrim inns in mind, though they asked if I could make it clear that the bed has been reinforced by the owners since Kela keeps destroying their furniture - tried pulling from some shipbuilding references for how wood beams might be repaired with metal bands.
