Turtle & Ninja

New piece from today. This is when the two ladies are bodyswapped. Ninja (in Turtle's body) says "One more word & I'm knocking my own teeth out! And I'm not swapping back till they heal!!" 

Turtle (as Ninja) replies "Hey! I can see stuff again! Man, bein' short sucks!!"

New Heroic idea.

This character is Target Girl. She's really a transformed Huntsman. Dennis gave me an outline of a multi-part story years ago that has her in it. I love the character & have sketched her often. I hope we can finally do that story. (I'd like to do additional ones as well)

These are up this week. Some of you may recognize Arianna Vance. I'm still trying to get part 2 of her story done. When I did the first part, I sort'a "burned out" on this for awhile. I've found that Clarissa, which is a similar take, is working better as it's in 24 page "chunks", with breaks between.

Sharp-eyed viewers may also note the year in the signatures. Yep, these have been done for 6 years now. They were originally done before I decided to turn Arianna into a cohesive whole. Wh...

This weeks stuff

Posted these on eBay last night. These 3 are a little different from my normal stuff as the art has no text on it. Since I created the art, I added the text & logos separately. Thus, I'm selling the art & a printout of the final together. I know you've seen the Raven Gold, but I'm not sure about the others.

The Clarissa piece is one I'm replacing. It's winding up as 2 or 3. Not sure. These are all pieces I've had around for a while. I'm going through a small  patch of "mental fatigue" which basically means any writing will be sub-par and penciling will be unsatisfactory. Fortunately, I always have pieces in the inking & coloring stages for times like these. They require less deep thought, but still allow me to get work done.

Also, the last 3 today are pieces I had almost given up ...

Have a new Mimsy, probably get the text done tomorrow. A follow-up to the last "Alien Who Stole My Wife's Body". 3 "Betty & Me"s. I had 1 & 3 done, but felt it would benefit from an additional piece Probably write that tomorrow, too.

My Fantastic Four "Run"

Years ago, back in the pre-Obama age, I submitted a proposal as a writer for the FF. As I was sure, I got the same response as I did for all the ideas I DIDN'T submit. Ah, well--

However, I had toyed with doing them as a series of Fan-Fic prose pieces, but over the years, my fan-fic has turned towards my own characters so I might actually publish said fiction. New Heroic idea.

Did this today. I'm gonna pitch it to Dennis at Heroic. I'd love to develop this into a story. My take is that the Teddy bear she's holding had a curse on it which has done this to our lovely Black Enchantress. I have some penciled speech above her:

"Thumbody's gonna die! I Thwear !!"

Original Heroic Art on ebay

I've started listing my original art for "Who is Raven?", including the cover. These are 10 x 15 bristol pieces. I'll be putting up 5 pieces a week over this month. I mention these because Raven is a gender-changed hero (ine).

Note about my blog

For those of you who've been checking out my blog, I just want you to know I'm discontinuing it. I just became aware that the images weren't enlarging & I have no idea how to fix it. At least this explains why so few people were looking at them.

Raven Gold & A Serious Question
