Okay, the transition from the Mira and Evilyn story and to the story about Annie.  Evilyn and Mira will be back though, obviously.  This is page three of the twelve-page chapter.

Jen The Room-Filler page 7 WIP 1

Any thoughts?  Did I make Jen too small?  The deal is that Mimi didn't have enough time to warn her that she'll return to her giant size whenever she's turned on.  So she'll have a smaller size and then maybe degrees of her giant size.

I think I want Mimi to be much larger than Jen at her smallest size.  But Mimi is a stable size and Jen is somewhat variable.

I wanted to get at least a page of each comic done this month, this is the comic left.

Pulse 463 WIP 5

Posting this for all Patreons because the page is late.  Here's what I've got for page 463.  I'm debating if I should try to complete this knowing I'll have to start page 464 right away, or if I should save this for next week and work on something else.

This still needs some shading, lighting effects, and lettering.

There's no dialog yet for this page.  Mastermind says something to ease Mira's concerns as Evilyn still is under guard until there are more tests of her...

2022 Valentine's Day Sex Drive WIP

I just got an email recently that they are actually doing the event this year after all, so I've been trying to come up with ideas.  I've always meant to do one with Annie and Thomas eventually (keeping in mind it would likely be pretty tame), but even on this third year of making one of these, I can't imagine they've slept together yet.

So instead of making the last two Annie-only, here's Tabitha and Charlotte too.  I figured a locker room of some kind wouldn't seem too stran...

Tifa + Italy

You know I had to make something, but I wanted it to be funny.  I had a narration box in the WIP that said "Almost True Event" but I wasn't sure the joke needed it.

Pulse 462 + PSDs + WIPs

Okay, this is the start of switching the story from being about Mira and Evilyn to being about Annie.  But Mira and Evilyn do appear again before they're out of the story for now.

I was originally going to have Annie's suit upgrade during the Mean Evie fight, but it never seemed the right time.  Instead, this is going to happen first.  This is really a chapter about Annie and Thomas eventually, and to start resolving the aftermath of the sleepwalker arc between them.

Pulse 462 WIP 3

A lot of it is inked, but there's a few spots left, and then I need to color it, write the dialog, and letter it.

(In case you didn't see the previous WIPs), Mira walks past the hero in blue who was flirting with Evilyn and offers to help him get in touch with her.

Then Annie mentions that her suit has locked up and she can't move or make it collapse back into a ring.

Pulse 461 + PSDs + WIPs

The start of chapter 36: "Iron Maiden".  These first two pages deal with wrapping up the previous events before the name of this chapter becomes obvious.  There's obviously a lot more to tell about Evilyn and Mira, but just like Grace's increase powers, and Arim needing a new body, this'll have to be done in installments.

This chapter is about Annie, even though she isn't on this page.

This is almost completely done, but just ran out of time.  I'll have to finish up the lettering and post it in the usual places later today.

Way behind, but here's the next two pages so far.  These two pages are both to wrap up this section of the Evilyn story, and also set up the rest of this chapter.

I think 461 is pretty readable maybe?  We have Mira taking Evilyn away.

Materia Enhanced V page 2

Okay, after completing the end of part IV, back to page 2 of part V.  My plan was that last chapter was focused on Tifa, this chapter will be focused on Rikku, and next chapter will be focused on Yuffie.

I thought that Rikku struggling with deciding who to change without asking them would be an challenge for her.  She's way more good than Yuffie, I'd say she's almost unlawful good.  BUT this eventually becomes unrealistic, with silly things preventing her.  It's mean...

The last page of the chapter.  Everything isn't quite over yet though, we haven't heard what's the deal Mira made, and something has happened to Annie that no one has noticed yet.  The next chapter will be called "Iron Maiden" for a reason.  Also Thomas will be back in the story next chapter after his injury with the sleepwalkers.

Needs coloring effects and lettering.  I messed up Evilyn's damaged outfit a little in the second to last panel, I also might try to get a better facial likeness too-- I think it's her chin or something.

This is the end of the chapter.  I've worried this is a easy way to end things, without even showing off the power of five horns.  I had ideas about her accidentally smashing Mira, sneezing and blowing a hole in a wall, but I thought I needed to end it as if Mira created a temporary solution.

Okay, the last page of page IV.  The next page was completed a while ago, so the next page to complete is part V page 2.

What do you want me to focus on?

I feel like I haven't completed a lot recently.  I had Covid in November, busy in December, then spent the last week upgrading my computer.

I decided to replace my 9 year old i7-2700k, and did it the cheaper way- by just replacing the CPU, motherboard and ram.  Same case, power supply, HDs, and same RX 470 video card.

I've replaced graphic cards, added ram, hard drives, etc.  BUT I've never tried dealing with motherboards, CPUs, and attaching CPU coolers.  ...i...

Tabitha

While I think Tabitha is one of the few Pulse characters who are sure enough of themselves to be really seductive, she'd probably be silly instead.

EDIT: I added a second, cell-shaded version of the picture.  In retrospect I wondered if I made the right coloring choice.  But I've included both versions here.
