HBO and John Oliver took aim at WWE on Sunday, and both WWE and its superstars took notice.
Fightful Select reported Sunday afternoon that HBO's "Last Week Tonight" would take a look at the independent contractor status of WWE wrestlers. When Fightful reached out to several Superstars for their thoughts, word of the episode made the rounds.
- We're told that Christopher Daniels actually recruited Jeff Cobb into ROH, and Sonjay Dutt had tried to recruit Cobb to Impact. Ironically, neither man works for those respective companies anymore
- For media interested, we're told AEW will be sending out credential info next week.
- RSVLTS is launching a line of button up WWE shirts, featuring Undertaker, Randy Savage, Ric Flair, Steve Austin and more. They'll have some kind of presence at WrestleMania weekend.

We're told there is an extensive segment that will take place, however. Word backstage is that the match won't go as planned tonight, and we could instead see Asuka in action in a title match.
