This is hardly news at this point, but those that we've spoken to in WWE say that WrestleMania is still "wide open in many regards." At this point in previous years, there would be run-sheets or tentative WrestleMania lineups around, though those have been made more secretive in recent years. The impending WWE free agent class has looked robust at times, but has thinned out quite a bit.

IMPACT Wrestling saw plenty of changes in 2019, including an enhanced focus on their Knockouts division.
It seems it's with merit, too. The division had a presence in four of the top five IMPACT-related clips on Youtube this year. Jordynne Grace, Tessa Blanchard, Taya and Scarlett Bordeaux were all represented as well.

Kurt Angle is committed to retirement and says that he is never wrestling again, when speaking to Chris Van Vliet in an interview that drops this week. He also specified that he's been working on the Raw brand as a producer, and doesn't do much with Smackdown. The word going around the WWE Performance Center of late is that there have been plans or ideas kicked around to debut Robert Stone, the former TNA X-Division Champion Robbie E. We weren't told in what role he'd be presented, or when, but he's not wrestled since being signed to WWE, instead serving as a manager for Riddick Moss and Dorian Mak. We haven't been given any indication of plans for the latter two.

Fightful reached out to several names on the Raw roster and staff this week after the Lashley and Lana wedding official was tackled. Nobody that got back to us knew it was going to happen, but we were told it was planned to some degree, as first reported by Pro Wrestling Sheet.

- Deonna Purrazzo and Chelsea Green's appearances on Raw were not last minute decisions, as they were informed days ahead.
- There's talk of a WWE PPV landing in Kansas City in 2019, but the final schedule hasn't been revealed yet. The tentative time frame were given was "around the summer, if it happens."

There's much discussion about a potential NJPW/AEW relationship. At least one person we spoke to in AEW doesn't think that would happen, and figured so due to the way that Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks were treated upon leaving the company. We were told that "time heals all wounds" in that sense, but they figured this one would "definitely take some time." I should note this wasn't exactly inside information, as opposed to one person on the roster's opinion

Jon Moxley is working out just fine for New Japan Pro Wrestling, as is Jushin Liger's retirement tour.

News of an internal Impact Wrestling/Anthem investigation emerged this week, but had been bubbling for months, after the release of Scarlett Bordeaux, and prior to the release of Killer Kross. As reported on Fightful Select last week, Kross has an NDA tied to his release, but we're not sure how limiting that is.
The wrestlers in Impact that we've spoken to didn't even know there was an investigation that went on, but AXS confirmed to us there was.
