A WrestleMania match was still slated as of March 25, but had to undergo some major changes.

Bobby Lashley update

This week Fightful Select reported that Omos' WrestleMania opponent was scheduled to be Bobby Lashley, returning from injury. We're told that as of today that is still the plan, and that Lashley is slated to be in town for WWE Raw on Monday night, though we've not confirmed that he's set to appear on the show.

- Effy said he tried to reset himself before March and April, but his schedule is about to get non-stop. He says his body gets into a WrestleMania mode where he wrestles several times a day. Cody Rhodes producing documentary

Cody Rhodes is facing a .....career crossroads, and is adding to his plate with a new documentary.

Last week, Teil Rhodes posted that her father, Dusty, would be beaming with pride if he saw what was next. Fightful Select can confirm that was actually in reference to an upcoming documentary about "The American Dream," produced by Cody, aimed at focusing on the legacy of Dusty.

Last week, Fightful Select reported that the sources has indicated that assets had been produced to indicate AEW/ROH were bringing in Jonathan Gresham. We have since confirmed that is the plan moving forward.

WWE had planned internally to bring in major act to Mania weekend

WWE had tentatively planned the NWO to be a part of WrestleMania weekend to some degree, Fightful is told.

Ahead of Scott Hall's passing, Fightful heard that WWE had planned to bring in him and other members of the New World Order to WrestleMania weekend for a promotional spot for their new WWE 2K22 game. The NWO are cover athletes for the most expensive iteration of the game, which released publicly the day that Hall passed away.

Details on a recent MLW contract extension

Davey Richards is with MLW for the long haul.

Richards tells Fightful that he had discussions with several companies upon his pro wrestling return, but ultimately landed on Major League Wrestling and felt the deal was "too good to be true." After a long wait, FTR vs. The Briscoes was announced for Supercard of Honor recently.

Omos' planned WrestleMania opponent

Omos could have a big, surprising WrestleMania opponent.

Wrestlevotes tweeted that Omos was in store for a surprising WrestleMania opponent. Fightful learned that as of this weekend, the planned opponent was former WWE Champion Bobby Lashley.

Lashley was injured in January at the Royal Rumble and was expected to miss up to four months. He was written off TV the following month at Elimination Chamber before he got into the match.
