One of the many reasons 'Slide Into the Void' was a big project was that it was the first Stupendium video to feature a full live action set, custom built for the shoot. I honestly had second thoughts about this song as I was writing it.
'Will this work?'
'Can I get away with another slow, dry monologue style of song or was 'House Always Wins' a one off?'
But I'm so happy with the end result. The amazing beat by Dansonn, the fantastic mixing by Oxygen and of course the stunning vocals by Cami-Cat all came together to make something really special.

'Another Horror Holiday' is the follow up to last year's 'A Very Scary Christmas'.
It's no secret that last year's Christmas song is not my proudest work. It was made at quite a low point for me and even though I'm very fond of it lyrically, the final product I don't feel was up to my standards.

Here it is! I often get asked what my favourite song I have made is and I always say that I don't pick favourites. However, I'd be a liar if I said I wasn't incredibly proud of this one!
Oxygen Beats did such an amazing job on the mix for this project. Up until the day of release on YouTube I was still working with my own rough demo of the track and when the final mix came in it ever so slightly blew me away. I can't stop listening to it myself!

The House Always Wins is one of my favourite videos I've made since starting the channel. It strikes a good balance of (relative) simplicity in terms of production but with some really strong imagery. Usually with my videos I am trying to capture the feel of the world of a game, often aiming to create something that could sit in-universe and feel at home. I actually built Joey's office twice. I always planned to base Joey's office on Walt Disney's own office instead of the one seen in game, primarily because the in game one isn't so interesting as it is mostly an empty room.
